A closer look at the person behind the resume

This page mirrors the clarity of a staff listing, but from the candidate side: who they are, where they can help, and what to mention when you open a conversation.

I'm offering free server moderation as I have a LOT of free time right now and would like to get more experience.

I'm interested in moderating for almost any server types though I've mainly had experience with gaming servers. I don't have a lot of experience and that's why I'm offering this for free.

A strong first message explains the mission, the workload, and what success looks like in the first few weeks.

How to pitch

Reach out with context, not just a link

01

Tell kursedkleaver what your Discord community does, who it serves, and what kind of tone your team works in day to day.

02

Explain the actual responsibilities you need help with, whether that is moderation, onboarding, events, content, or something more specialized.

03

Set expectations early by mentioning schedule, response times, and the outcome you want in the first few weeks of working together.
