Community Management/Moderation Work

Hello, my name is Elysian, I'm a college student (18 y/o) and I have been using Discord since 2016. I have around 5 years of experience within management roles, whether that be in server, staff or community management.

My first major role was for a development group called "Base Productions". This game studio developed a formerly popular ROBLOX game entitled "Base Raiders". This game currently sits at around 63.8 million plays. The Discord server peaked at around 14,000 members, but many of these got purged due to an abusive Administrator. My job within this role was as a Community Manager, managing the staff team, server and also carrying out in-game moderation. During my time at Base Productions, I had also co-owned various smaller hangout type servers, averaging around 2k members. My next large role was for another ROBLOX game studio, by the name of "TopTier Games". This game studio developed a ROBLOX game called "Sword Factory X", which was frequently on the front-page of ROBLOX, having 26.5 million plays and a Discord server of 31,000 members. Within this group, I was the fastest staff member to go from a Trial Moderator up to the highest role of "Head Administrator". In this role, my responsibilities were to carry out server changes, manage the staff team as well as hiring and interviewing staff, and doing regular server and in-game moderation tasks. I was also a key part in making various management decisions behind the scenes regarding the direction of the game and Discord server. I left this role due to the owners selling the game to a failing company. I am currently working as a moderator for an AI-related Discord server called "Astroblox" with 13.3k members.
