Professional moderator with past experiences

I'm a proactive user, and I'm passionate about creating safe online spaces. I'm comfortable in interacting with members to keep chat nice and positive, and enforcing the rules when necessary.

I've always been the person who naturally goes toward being helpful. I enjoy being active, jumping into conversations, and making sure new people feel included. It’s the little things, like answering a question someone is too shy to ping a mod for, or just keeping a conversation positive and flowing. To me, a safe community isn't just about what happens when rules are broken, it's about the positive energy we share together everyday. I find a lot of satisfaction when I know that everybody is safe and included, and nobody is left out. I see moderation as a team sport. I'm a reliable person who communicates clearly, isn't afraid to ask for a second opinion when a situation is tricky, and I'm always open to feedback. I'm not applying because I want that power of being a moderator, I'm applying because I love being helpful towards everybody.

I'm observant enough to spot issues, and good at calming things down with a friendly but serious approach.
