We’re looking for a WordPress Designer and Developer to join our Academy Gaming team. This is a volunteer role where you’ll help create and maintain the websites that power our gaming community.
Academy Gaming is a team of passionate gamers, creators, and developers who work together to build a strong and welcoming community. We’re looking for someone who enjoys designing and creating with WordPress to help us improve the websites that represent our servers, events, and hosting network. As a WordPress Designer and Developer, you’ll work with others on the team who handle graphics, marketing, and content. You’ll help design pages, improve layouts, and make sure everything feels smooth and easy to use. We’re looking for someone who enjoys both the creative and technical sides of web design and wants to bring new ideas to the table. Experience with WordPress, Elementor, or Gutenberg is preferred. Some understanding of plugins, SEO tools like Rank Math, or website optimization would also be helpful, but we’re happy to help you learn if you’re motivated and eager to grow. This is a volunteer position, but you’ll be part of a group that values teamwork and shared goals. It’s a great opportunity to gain real experience, expand your skills, and make a lasting impact in a gaming community that truly appreciates what you bring to the table.
