Description

The mysterious and supernatural has always existed in the universe though it had remained relatively unseen and hidden away with a few exceptions. Here and there, strange races might pop up to mingle with the everyday masses of humanity such as the olden elven folk or perhaps creatures from the stars beyond. Whispers of creatures from the heavens above and the abyss below would creep up occasionally and rumors of magics running amok and advanced technologies being hidden away would surface and circulate. Still, for the most part, life went on as normal with only the occasional oddity cropping up. That was until the 1830s when the 'Ingress Incidence' occurred. Rifts in space spontaneously appeared and everyone everywhere was baffled by their sudden arrival. Entire warring nations ceased their pettiness to try and understand them... And over the years, those tears in reality have certainly left their mark. The world has long since evolved, died, and revived to something brilliant and mysterious by the time of 2030.
