He has developed a conceptual art practice with a focus on using AR to explore contemporary issues. He is also an art historian with a special interest in Pietro Cavallini, the proto-Renaissance Roman fresco painter. In 2022, Stephen launched CELED, a digital art project that comprises a unique NFT, as well as a digital phone-based AR filter that triggers a 3D experience to a still image. CELED involves the re-interpretation of classical art images to address contemporary images.CELED T-Shirt is out and available on the website.
